Chakra-Balancing Yoga (Private) – 1.5 hours
This is a meditative movement journey through the seven major chakras with seven chakra-specific organic aromas. Hatha and restorative options to activate the parasympathetic nervous system – regain equilibrium, lower blood pressure and heart rate, stimulate the immune system, and optimize the endocrine system. Blankets and props may be used to support the body in passive postures where gravity does the work. You are guided through chakra-specific postures, color visualization, and affirmations, with aroma specific to each chakra. Come prepared to be still and let go!
Healing Yin Yoga & Meditation (Private) – 1.5 hours
Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. This therapeutic Sedona Yoga Retreat session is deeply relaxing and meditative, allowing one to connect with the Divine through silence and calm, slow movement. When we stay in poses longer this connection is more readily accessible. This session may culminate with a deeply relaxing meditation.
Restorative Yoga & Meditation (Private) – 1.5 hours
Restorative practice typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Most restorative practices are based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. This session is ideal for older participants, or people with injuries, as well as those who simply want to “wind-down” over-active mind and lifestyle. This session often includes a deep healing savasana meditation.
Meditation: Divine Soul Connection (Private) – 1 hour or 1.5 hours
Connect more deeply with your Soul through relaxing meditation. Learn various techniques to go within. Your Practitioner will guide you during this meditative Sedona Yoga Retreat session, enabling you to gain deep peace here and now. From this still place you may gain utmost clarity, wisdom, and strength. You may also learn yogic breathing techniques to facilitate deep relaxation. The deepest Self-Love is when we feel the Divine presence within ourselves. Release stress, focus, and feel at peace within your own Soul through meditation.
Self-Love Yoga Dance (Private) – 1.5 hours
Clear your mind, let go of stress, and express yourself through the power of music and movement. Give your heart rate a healthy boost while learning simple steps and rhythms to great music from around the world. The best part is you cannot get it wrong! This interactive experience encourages individual creativity while nurturing your body, mind, heart, and soul. Ending with a relaxing mindfulness practice, you will feel refreshed, restored, and tapped into true Self-Love!
Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation (Private) – 1 hour
Feel your body completely relaxed as before falling asleep, and become systematically and increasingly aware of your inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness is different from meditation, in which concentration on a single focus is required. You remain in a state of light withdrawal of the five senses (pratyahara) with four senses internalized (withdrawn), only hearing focusing upon instructions. Experience samadhi (meditative consciousness), among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full awareness. This most-restorative session is perfect for those with over-active mind or needing deep mind, body and Spirit replenishment!
Vinyasa for Self-Love (Private) – 1 hour or 1.5 hours
“Vinyasa” can be translated as arranging things in a special way, such as yoga poses. Experience a dynamic practice wherein movement is coordinated with your breath, creating a flowing sequence of poses. This invigorating session is sure to get your heart rate up, as well as expand all five senses. Excellent start or end to your Self-Love Retreat day. Perfect for those wanting to improve cardio fitness, burn calories, feel empowered and alive on your Self-Love Journey!
Sedona Creekside Yoga (Private) – 1.5 or 2 hours (Outside)
Practicing along Sedona’s Oak Creek is truly relaxing and sublime. This private session begins with a short drive to peaceful Oak Creek for outdoor private yoga. Place your mat on a large grassy area amidst tranquil nature and shade trees, then enjoy a privately-tailored practice which may include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, or Kundalini, as well meditation. Gain peace and Self-Love at Sedona’s very own Oak Creek!
